Mandatory requirement. Red zone
The entire wetroom floor must be tanked with WaterGuard to qualify for our lifetime guarantee. This will prevent any water ingress into the floor structure and also provide decoupling properties to the tiled surface.
Recommended. Red and Blue zone
The entire floor and walls immediately inside the wet area and extending 600mm beyond should be tanked to stop any water ingress into walls.
